Facade Access

Engineered systems for safe, efficient facade maintenance

Facade Access

Hi-Rise delivers specialist facade access solutions designed to support safe, compliant and efficient maintenance across modern and complex building structures. Whether for routine window cleaning, facade panel replacement, inspection works or ongoing asset management, we engineer systems that integrate seamlessly with your building while providing complete coverage.

Our team works closely with architects, builders and asset managers to develop facade access equipment and strategies that balance performance, compliance and practicality. All systems are designed and fabricated in-house, ensuring quality and reliability across every stage of delivery.

Facade Access Capabilities

Hi-Rise delivers fully engineered facade access solutions that support safe, efficient and compliant maintenance of building exteriors. Our capabilities span both permanent and temporary access methods, tailored to suit building geometry, materials, operational requirements and long-term maintenance needs.

We design, engineer and supply systems including:

  • Davit Systems
  • Monorails and Rigid rails
  • Custom Rope Access Needles
  • Anchor points and Horizontal Lifelines
  • Rope Guide Rail Systems
  • Safe Roof Access Pathways

Solutions are designed to integrate seamlessly with new or existing structures and comply with relevant Australian Standards. From early-stage consultancy through to detailed design, in-house fabrication, installation and annual recertification. Hi-Rise provides practical, site-ready systems that keep maintenance personnel safe and building facades accessible throughout their lifecycle.

Facade Access Systems

Hi-Rise delivers a range of building access equipment designed to support safe, efficient and compliant maintenance across all building types. Our solutions are tailored to suit each project’s geometry, operational requirements and long-term maintenance strategy, ensuring complete access to every façade elevation.

Whether the project requires permanent installations, temporary methods or a combined approach, our systems are developed to integrate seamlessly with new or existing structures. From rope access equipment and overhead rail systems to davits, anchors and specialist portable solutions, each system is engineered and certified to meet Australian Standards while providing reliable, practical access for maintenance personnel.

Davit Arms & Socket Systems

Removable davit arms paired with low-profile socket bases allow safe rope access and facade maintenance without permanent protrusions.

Davit systems can be positioned on roofs, balconies or garden beds to achieve full elevation coverage.

Overhead Monorails & Rigid Rails

Custom monorails and rigid rail systems enable continuous movement across facades.

They  improve efficiency for rope access technicians and reduce the number of set-up points needed.

Anchor Points & Lifelines

We supply and install single-point anchors, horizontal lifelines and specialised anchor systems for facade maintenance, gutter cleaning and roof edge work.

All systems are compliant with AS/NZS 1891 and AS/NZS 5532.

RoofJockey™ and Needle Solutions

Designed and manufactured exclusively by HI-RISE, RoofJockey™ is a portable, lightweight needle system designed to provide safe facade access for industrial abseiling teams working at height.

Our portable RoofJockey™ and Needle systems provide safe clearance for Rope Access Technicians when facade geometry, balustrades or building features prevent direct access from the roof.

Rope Support Rails

Rope support rails protect fragile or non-load-bearing elements such as glass balustrades, lightweight alloys and parapet capping by redirecting rope forces back into the building structure.

They also prevent rope abrasion on exposed slab edges, supporting safe and efficient facade access.

Compliance & Design Integration

Hi-Rise designs all facade access systems in alignment with relevant Australian Standards, ensuring long-term safety and certification.

Standards & Requirements

Our designs meet or exceed:

  • AS/NZS 1891 — Industrial fall-arrest systems

  • AS/NZS 5532 — Anchor point testing and strength

  • AS 1657 — Fixed ladders, walkways and guardrails

  • Manufacturer and site-specific engineering requirements

Seamless Architectural Integration

We work closely with architects, builders and consultants to create solutions that are low-profile, visually appropriate and compatible with building structure and services.

Our Approach

Every project begins with a detailed site assessment and consultation to understand the building’s maintenance requirements. Our in-house team manages the full lifecycle, from concept and 3D modelling through to fabrication, installation and long-term recertification. This ensures consistency, reliability and the highest level of safety across all our facade access systems.
